We all had a great time playing GO on
Saturday! Thank Zhang Yuan for generously providing us a
place to get together, and Chen Yen, Wei Xing, Tan Peter for
voluntering as our judges.
We have exactly 12 players divided into three groups:
Group A: Chen Jingping (1), Ralph Quinn (0), Yang
Qiping(1), Zhu Xiaoyuan (0)
Group B: Jiang Tiehu (1), Yang Zhenghai (0), Song Likai (1),
Su Jianhua (0)
Group C: Yuan Xin (1), Xu Bin (0), Zhang Tianming (1), Zhang
Yuan (0)
Our 2nd round of in-group contest will be this coming
Saturday, April 24th, at 7:30PM, Chinese Martial Arts
Center. Please make sure not to be late or absent, or you
may be kicked out of the tournament. Group A will have Zhu
Xiaoyuan playing against Ralph Quinn, and Yang Qiping
playing against Chen Jingping; Group B will have Yang
Zhenghai playing against Song Likai, and Jiang Tiehu playing
against Su Jianhua; Group C will have Xu Bin playing against
Zhang Yuan, and Yuan Xin playing against Zhang Tianming.
The top 2 players in each group will advance to the playoff.
The 3 winners of the playoff will then play 2 games against
each other to decide the tournament Champion, the Silver
Medalist and the Bronze Medalist. If there is a tie when
deciding the top 2 players within a group, additonal games
will be played among those players who have the same score.
See you all on Saturday!
