Mid-Autumn Festival Party 
 
The Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner. We will celebrate this traditional Chinese festival for family reunion. The Festival is on 10/06/2006. We leave this date for single family celebration.
 
Our CAT party will be on 10/14/2006 4:00pm--9:00pm. The topic of this party is "Sport and Health"("Sheng1 Ming4 Zai4 Yu2 Yun4 Dong4" in Chinese).We will provide drink and food including our traditional "Moon Cake".  The location of our party is Jack L. McLean, JR Park Community Center located at 700 Paul Russell Road, Tallahassee, 32305.
 
We will organize a variety of funny sport games for different age groups. The following are the game list. If you are interested in participating some game, please reply this email before 10/7/06 to let us know the game number, participant's name, paticipant's age, gender, phone number, email. Please note that all of the sport games are for fun. You do not need to be an expert to play. Also note that some of the games are good for our senior people.
 
If you do not want to participate in the sport game and just want to join the party, you are also warmly welcome. Please reply this email to let us know your name, phone number, email so we can prepare enough food.
 
This party is FREE for CAT members. For non member, $15 per person. We will process enrollment at the party if people want to join CAT.

1. Bumper pool (3 tables)

2. foosball (3 tables)

3. Air hockey (3 tables)

4. Family contest: 3 legs
This game could be for couples. Each person has a leg
tied with another person. Every time, 5 couples take
off the same time and see who reach the line first
(about 30 meter distance)

5. Kids group contest: dragon
This game is for kids (adults can also try). Each
team has 5~7 people. Everybody in one team stands in a
line. The second person uses his/her left hand to hold
the first person's left ankle. The 3rd one holds the
2nd person's ankle and so on. When the contest
starts, everybody jump forward using one leg. The team
reaches the line first wins (about 30 meter distance)

6. Group rope jumping.

7. Hold a Ping pang ball using Ping pang pad and run
ï¼?SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Good for Senior People ï¼?SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">
(we might set up some obstacles along the way)

8. Fun Ping pang contest. 4 people on each side.

9. Dodge ball (Du1 Sha1 Bao1): this game is a maybe:
Two team. Each team has 15 people. 5 people (throwers)
from each team stay on each side. 10 people (dodgers)
from each team stay in th e middle. The throwers will
throw little bean bags (Sha1 Bao1) at the other team's
dodger. Dodgers got hit will leave the middle area
and become a thrower. Which team has the last dodger
on the field wins.
Rules: a. More than one bean bag can be used.
b. Thrower can only aim at dodger's leg: from knee to
ankle.
